Antique and classic cars are a large part of our culture. Older cars have a way of representing an entire generation or era. There are many different organizations that are dedicated to remembering and celebrating the pioneers of the automotive industry. The Antique Automobile Club of America is one of the largest organizations of this kind. Car enthusiasts may find it beneficial to look up their website at AACA.org. The Antique Automobile Club of America strongly believes in preserving the rich history found within classic cars. They also spend time promoting these cars as well. Annual meetings are held yearly which includes such exciting things as workshops on antique automotive restoration. The club has even gone international and has members from several different countries in the world. One thing that should be noted about the club is that they are in no way a commercial organization. They are fully independent and only wish to promote a beloved hobby.
The AACA was formed back in the year 1931. A small group of men decided they would form a group in order to celebrate their love of automobiles. It has certainly come a long way since then. This is definitely a great way to get the children involved, especially if classic cars are a family shared interest.

Some of these events will require registration so make sure to find out ahead of time. Meets and events are held all over the country from Pennsylvania to Texas so there should likely be one coming near you.
