Banzai Soak
What kind of plastic are slip-n-slides made of?
A very random question but important. My slip-n-slide has torn and I’ve lost the repair patch it came with. I was going to use glue of some sort to attempt to fix it, but the glue I have says not to use with polyethylene or polypropylene. Though I highly doubt that my slip-n-slide is made from the same material as a grocery bag, it could be possible for all I know, and I don’t want to ruin it.
If it helps/makes a difference, the slip-n-slide is Banzai brand, and it’s called the “Soak ‘N Splash Water Slide”
I have looked at the booklet for the slide, and no, it does not say anything about the composition of the slide; just safety precautions/instructions.
This question is not extremely critical–after all, duct tape seems to work pretty well on just about everything (though it’s not water proof)–but if nothing else, I’m just curious to see if anyone knows the answer. Thanks!
I don’t know what type of plastic it is, but try Mr. Sticky glue. It can be used wet or dry and it doesn’t have the plastic limitations.
