Basketball is a kind of game that requires agility, intelligence, determination, and of course interest to play the game. These are the things that are essential if someone wishes to play Basketball. Even if players don’t possess some of these qualities, upon playing Basketball these characteristics are being developed to each player.

Almost all people in the world love to play Basketball. It’s a fun game that even in backyards, gymnasium, and parks can be played. People of all ages are fond of playing the game.  Though the game is easy, it’s still hard to be mastered. There are rules, tricks, and moves that a player should master. When someone watches players playing Basketball he will see them dancing with a ball. It promotes grace, and fast paced movement among players. Every move is exciting to watch.

For aspirants’ players, they will need a ball and a ring to be able to play the game. A group of five players is also needed. In order for the players to earn points they either need to toss up the ball or shoot it into the ring. The objective of the Basketball game is to gain points by shooting the ball on the ring. In this case, players should aim to guard the ball as much as they can.

If the ball is in the control of the other team, players can either do “stealing “or “blocking“ to stop them from gaining points. Stealing is done if a player wants to take the ball away from the other player while on the other hand blocking is done when a player deflects a shot attempt and gets the ball if the other player is not able to shoot the ball. Once a player misses a shot it is already called “rebound”.

One of the most exciting parts of Basketball is the dribbling. Dribbling is done by players to allow the ball to bounce off the floor up to their palm-down hand in order for the ball to move. This is the part where everyone loves to yell on their favorite team. Each player should learn dribbling because this is one way of guarding the ball from the other team.

Though Basketball is really hard to master, determination to win the game will still be one’s asset to be a successful and famous Basketball player. If a player is not determined, he will loose the game.
