Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet – Fun Gift For Kids Mad About Star Wars

Most people have a decent understanding of the Star Wars series. It’s been going since George Lucas put out the first (err…fourth chronologically speaking) movie in 1977. That's 32 years ago ! And the story/mythology seems to be going from strength to strength as new movies, books, cartoon, TV series and video games come out. I wonder who makes up all these stories and whether they have to be sanctioned by Lucas before hand.

All that can be said is that the creators of Star Wars have done pretty well for themselves. A relatively new piece of merchandise that accompanies the Star Wars tales is the Clone Trooper Voice changer helmet. This is basically a role playing helmet so that kids can act out their favorite scenes from the movies or TV series. Or they can even make up their own adventures.

The clone trooper helmet is a fairly accurate replica of the helmets you see the clone troopers wear in the movies and the TV series that feature the epic clone wars as their central theme.

The clone wars were essentially the prelude to the dissolving of the republic and the creation of the empire. It was probably the most significant event in the history of the Star Wars galaxy (that we know about anyway). It began the eventual destruction of the legendary Jedi Knights and brought the Sith to power in the galaxy. Things would never be the same until an insignificant young moisture farmer from Tatooine blows up a not so insignificant Death Star (and discovers a few family home truths along the way).

Clones were mass produced based on the DNA of the mercenary/bounty hunter Jango Fett. For children interested in role playing in these clone wars as an imperial stormtrooper, there are a few different types of helmet.

The normal clone trooper helmet is white hard plastic, with a dark, shaded blast visor. In terms of voice changing, the helmet modulates the wearers voice so that it sounds like the clones you hear in the movies/TV series. There are also many standard phrases in authentic clone voices that can be emitted from the helmet by pushing a few buttons.

Kids will love to put the helmet on and pretend to by attacking Count Dooku or some other villain. Or maybe they can pretend to be soldiers in the service of Darth Vader and battle the Jedi Knights and Yoda. Let their imagination run wild.

There are other types of helmets that have slight modifications to the original helmet. Notably the 501st Legion clone trooper is a crack, top of the line stormtrooper. Their helmets have a slightly different shape and a blue trim to them. They have phrases that are taken from the TV series too. Captain Rex was a commander in the 501st Legion, his helmet has red trim. This is also available.
