Raider CS35 – Have A Blast This Christmas Holiday Season

The Nerf Raider CS 35 is the new dart blaster gun to come from the NERF workshop. It's a significant advance on the standard issue dart gun of the past because it has a rapid fire option. It's a bit like a semi-automatic or pump action dart gun. This is sure to give you the edge when it comes to any nerf wars you have lined up this year or the next. Here is a brief description of what you will get with your N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS-35.

The common failure of a great nerf battle was a stilited or limited firepower. Fair enough, you could carry a few darts with you and reload each time you fire but nothing is quite the same as an rapid fire mode to deliver a withering rate of fire at the opposition. This has changed with the CS-35.

It is part of the N-Strike range of blasters, meaning that it is not a velcro type dart, simply a hit'em dart. It has an adjustable stock so that it can fit your size. It resembles the other Nerf guns you are used to but it has a drum magazine attachment. The magazine will take up to 35 darts.

The gun can be fired in single shot mode or rapid fire. I won't cover the single shot mode but get on to the more exciting rapid fire mode. The rapid fire setting uses the pump action of the stock to generate air pressure that is the force behind any dart leaving the gun (you can get a fair distance with a dart, across a medium sized back garden). By keping the finger depressed on the trigger, you can effect an automatic (or semi automatic) fire rate each time you pump the stock. Thus you can fire as quickly as you can pump the stock.

The magazine is made of a transparent plastic, easy for seeing the number of darts you have fired and when you need to think about reloading. Reloading the magazine will take a bit of experience and time but the more you do it the easier it will become. If you are embroiled in a nerf battle, then get a comfy hideaway where you can get some downtime and reload in peace.

You can buy the Raider CS 35 separately or with 65 extra darts as part of the value pack (100 in total). Although the value pack is more money, it is a better option as you are bound to lose a few darts here and there.

This dart blaster gun would be a perfect stocking filler or Christmas gift for children 8 and up. It's probably more aimed at boys (if you'll excuse the bad pun) and I bet the odd adult male or college student might like to have one handy for the odd occasion too.
