If you think you know for sure the color you will be using in your next home improvement plan, then think again. Here are a couple of advices that can serve when we talk about painting interiors and changing carpentry colors.

1. Changing the wall colors can be a good start. Start by testing the color of the paint by marking a line on an object you can easily move, but that is similar to a dried wall, then look at the color from different angles and during different periods of the day. You will then see that the color look completely different in daylight that it does when illuminated by an artificial light The profoundness of the color also varies depending on the surface it’s applied on and the light it that illuminates it.

2. What people usually do is to paint the ceiling in the lightest shade, then the walls a bit darker. Consider painting carpentry objects is the darkest tone. To emphasis the contrast, you should use for carpentry oil based paints.

3. If you hire a carpenter it’s useful to ask for a 10 centimeters sample of the material, to make an exact idea about the furniture piece you want. Also, do not shop for floors or carpets and other decorative materials without seeing real life samples.

4. If you don’t want to paint a wall differently and let it act as your focal point, then place a small red object into the room, it will do the trick. This can be a flower vase of a dark red or even a soft toy bear placed on an armchair or a red baldwin baby grand piano .

If you think white walls are plain, think again. There are cases in witch the white of the walls doesn’t say much, leaving the impression of a ill atmosphere, lacking imagination and totally inappropriate, but the truth is that white is a neutral tone. White also comes in lots of shades, if we can call them that. White walls require lively furniture colors and ask for well though of contrasts. And also, white is a stylish color and always will be. Mixing a white ceiling with some dusty white walls and bright accents can really a bring special modern aspect to a room.
