How should I incorporate this season’s trends into my wardrobe for this school year?

I want to mix in some of the styles that are hot this fall / winter season with clothes I already own without looking like I stepped out of a spread for Elle. At the same time, I want to be able to maintain my look (dark-wash jeans, darker-coloured tops in greys, dark purples, blacks, conservative sneakers and flats) at the same time.

k so bear with me, my school has a uniform so i’ve kinda forgotten how people dress to school, im kinda only used to parties and hanging out and stuff… and this is my style but other people may have different ones

seven and rock and republic have REALLY comfortable and cute jeans, but they’re usually about $300 a pair, so you might not want to spend them
you could try some dark wash shorts too

(its not dark but its really cute and black low cut tank tops always look good over blouses so you could try that)

pretty much everything matches with dark jeans so i don’t think you’ll have a problem with that
