If you swing a bucket of water around your head, what shape does the water take in the bottom of the bucket?

Since “centrifical force” is in play, does the water stay flat to the bottom of the bucket, or does it curve diagonally onto the corner of the bucket, since there is 2 forces pulling at it.

If the bucket is swinging around you at a constant speed, the water will be flat against the bottom of the pail. As the speed is changed, the water will lag behind or press ahead depending whether it is accelerating or decelerating.
