Castle Boys

What’s the story behind a picture of a boy/man sitting up in an open chest or casket over a castle?

I have an old door knocker that depicts a boy or man sitting up in an open round top box with clouds or billows of smoke behind him. Underneath is what looks like a European village with a castle and church/cathedral and small cottages. I’d love to know the story that goes with it.

This sounds allot like the way ancient people use to depict images of heaven and the acension of the spirit.
