Best available food for cats?

As a loving and a devoted person I’ve been researching on pet food and especially cat and kitten food. I want to give them the very best and I assumed Hill’s Science plan was as good as it can get- wrong. To my horror, it contains cereals and ‘other’ meat. So I moved to Iams, again same problem. I’m so confused. Ive come across Purely by Pets at Home, kitty likes it but it doesn’t contain taurine which I believe is vital to there health. And although it contains 50% meat and reads great it’s also dry, so I mix both iams and purely together. Is this ok? Can anyone suggest a premium food please? It’s forever confusing. I want to give them my very best afterall i wouldn’t want to eat 4% meat when I should be eating more. Thank you everyone. X
Oh my gosh,

please read this is disgusting

Some examples of excellent brands are Wellness, Merrick’s, Innova, Blue Buffalo, Taste of the Wild, Orijin, Weruva, Instinct, Chicken soup for the cat lovers soul, along with countless others.

You also may want to look into a raw diet. Cats THRIVE on raw feeding (or cooked with the proper nutrients added) and might be something you would be interested in. You are SO right about Iams and Hills tho, glad you looked into it and discovered for yourself!!
