who do I go to for a valuation of 2 nos 100+ years old chinese medical books handwritten in chinese ink?

Both books are bound with strings. The older book is made of old handmade paper (rough type and brown in color) and deteriorating at the edges.

Try your local library. Not a satellite branch, though, the main one with the research dept.

Not that they can translate it for you, but they can certainly tell you when and where they most probably came from.
