The New Turbo C30

Recently Volvo revealed their brand new cars – Volvo C30 with T5 Engine. The 2.5 litre car has the larger turbo engine which boosts the power to 399bhp. Amazing isn’t it. Who knows this might just be the next Bond car? I don’t think that will happen but it is just a thought.

Since Volvo introduced the new shape C30 their sales have gone up from what it was before and now they are even bettering the C30 with the new Polestar. Polestar is Volvo’s racing and performance partner, who helped them win the Swedish Touring Car Championship last year. Apparently this car might even be faster than the new Civic type Rs, Cupras and the GTIs. Meaning it will be doing something like 0-60 in 6 seconds may be. I am down for a test drive to see if it actually is as fast as they say it is.

The new Volvo C30 was on show onnd April 2010 in Gothenburg motor show. People who visited the show have come back with positive feedbacks for the new stunning C30 Polestar. The old C30 had the alloys option of upto 18inch but this one goes one inch more to 19inch alloys with Pirelli P Zero tyres. The new updated springs and dampers has been added into the car to give it a better handling to match the speed. I am sure from this update the price would be more expensive than usual for this car. The normal C30 R design will cost £15,999 so this has to be somewhere near £20,000 and more.

Many people who went to show said they are already saving up for this new stunning looking C30 Polestar and to be honest I might do the same. There are some who are saying they would prefer to buy a ford or a Citroen, Toyota or anything else that will help them save money in petrol as these cars runs longer than Volvo. Few said if Volvo is going to be around the region of £20,000 then they would prefer buying Audi TT Coupe than C30 polestar. To be honest it depends on a person what they want to buy as different people have different opinions and choices.
