Radio Flyer – Meet an American Classic

There are very few toy companies that you can look at and say to yourself that America can rightfully-claim it.  First of all, majority of the companies fold up way before they can make a name for themselves.  On the other hand, a lot of companies rely too much on their international factories and offices.  In addition, the toy industry is an international one.  This is why there are a lot of international companies that are offering their products in the American market.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with that.  When it comes to our kids, the most important thing is you can trust the company to provide you with safe, fun and high-quality toys that can help entertain and develop our kids.  However, isn’t it comforting to buy something that’s an American classic?  There are several reasons why it’s comforting.  But mainly, an American classic has proven to be very effective with American kids since they’ve been trusted for several generations already.  This just means that you can drop your defenses down since you know that you can trust the company.

Unfortunately, there are very few companies that you can call an American classic.  One such company is Radio Flyer.  Quickly, what’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the company’s name?  There’s a good chance that you’ll think of a red wagon.  Don’t worry.  You’re not alone.  It’s not hard to see why that’s the case.  It’s hard to forget about an American icon that has been entertaining kids for more or less 90 years.  Yes, that’s nine decades of excellence and trust-building.

The company has been around since 1917.  Aside from the red wagon, they’re also very popular for their trikes and bikes.  They’re also making a name for themselves when it comes to scooters.  Overall, you can safely say that Radio Flyer is one of the best when it comes to ride-on toys.  This is because they use one simple formula when it comes to their products – a good mix of simplicity, beauty and safety.  It’s hard to argue with that formula especially since it’s been a winning formula for generations now.

Antonio Pasin was the one who set up the company back in 1917.  When he started Radio Flyer, he wanted to “bring joy to every boy and every girl”.  We can all safely say that he was able to succeed.  After all, millions of little boys and girls were able to grow up having fun with their ride-on toys.  Now that his grandsons, Robert and Paul, are at the helm; they’re promising to uphold the virtues of the company.  Judging from the way they were able to continue the company’s winning formula, it’s safe to say that they’re doing a great job of continuing their grandfather’s legacy.
