Handbill Flyer

A bandbill/flyer is to contain 50in^2 of printed matter, with 4-inch margins at top and bottom and 2-inch…?
margins on the sides. What dimensions for the handbill would use the least paper?
So if the width of the printed area is x, its height would be 50/x since x times 50/x = 50
That makes the whole paper be (x+2+2)(50/x + 4 + 4)
This is (x+4)(50/x +
or
50 + 8x + 200/x + 32
The minimum occurs when this equation’s first derivative equals zero
So 8 – 200/x^2 = 0
8/1 = 200/x^2; solve this for x
