Iron Horse
Before modern technology, what was considered an iron horse?
I’m reading a book called “Things Fall Apart.” The setting is in Africa, but they lack technology. The society is based around agriculture and all are very religious. In the midst of the story, they talk about a “white man who came riding on an iron horse.” Do other people have technology and they just don’t? Or does iron horse mean something other than motorcycle. Thank you to everyone that helps.
