What was the kids’ cartoon about the robots with interchangeable parts?

i used to watch this cartoon on the weekends about this kid that had a yellow robot named beemon (sounds like digimon, i know. but im sure that was his name) and the robot could change different parts of his body with other robots and gain different abilities.

It sounds like the anime “Metabots”. The yellow robot’s name is Metabee.
