Most small children can still enjoy having Biscuit as a pet, but you should be prepared to do most of the moving of Biscuit for your child. Biscuit also requires 6 D batteries, which you will need to remember to pick up since they are not included in the box.

How Biscuit Works

Biscuit has nine sensors that help him to interact with your child based on touch, movement and voice. For example, if you touch his left paw he will raise it to shake hands with you. If given the command “speak,” he will bark in response. And if something is waved in front of the sensor in his forehead, he will respond by flinching, sneezing or blinking.

Biscuit My Lovin’ Pup is also able to switch to different interactive modes based on how much attention he is getting. For example, he will enter a hangout mode after a period of time without direct interaction. After a further period of non-interaction, he will lay down and go into sleep mode.
