Whats the easiest kite you have ever made?

Looking for something easy for students to make and fly..

1/8″ dowels and cardboard. One dowel 24″ long the other about 18″ long. Lash them together with twine or hot glue to form the “t” shape. Make a template so your students can trace the classic enlongate diamond kite shape and cut out. glue to the brace. Twine affixed to the spot where the dowels connect. Use extra twine and ribbon for tails to balance them.
As an alternative to card board, try to find tyvek. Used for wrapping houses during construction prior to siding. It is plastic like but very strong (they make raincoats out of it) and you can often get extra from construction sites by asking.
