What is the difference between an Orange Lady Bug and a Red Lady Bug?

I’ve seen a lot of Orange Lady Bugs lately especially in our Playground… kids seem to run away from them, does anyone Know what exactly is the difference between the Orange Lady Bug and the Traditinally seen Red Lady Bug…. (obviously aside from the colors)?

It can be differences within species – as mentioned above, H. axyridis has a wide array of coloration within the species, due to genetic variation. However, in other species, it can be due to malnutrition. When ladybugs have a lack of nutrition, their elytra will start to turn from a bright red to a dull orange.
