Lead Free

Is the Giada De Laurentiis Ceramic Cookware lead free?
I can’t find any information about it anywhere that says its lead free.

hint…. if it doesn’t SAY ‘lead free’ on the bottom, it probably isn’t……
“A word of warning for when purchasing ceramic cookware outside of the United States; some foreign manufacturers use lead in the production of their cookware. If you use such cookware, the lead can leach into the foods that you eat. This may lead to illness or death. If you purchase ceramic cookware from foreign countries, and unless they have a certificate certifying that their products are 100% lead-free, use their ceramic pieces as decoration only.”
just an aside… as a famous celebrity chef, I doubt they’d let her put her name o n something that would later on cause a stir like a lead problem…. but… on one site that interviewed her she said she uses these on her show…”13. Where are the white ceramic pots from that you often use on your show?
They are cast-iron products from Le Creuset. They can be found at a variety of stores such as William Sonoma and Sur La Table. The braising pan and French ovens are fantastic.”… gee, why not HER pots????…. that would make me wonder…..
