Leslie Henry

Leslie Henry
Warner, Amanda, b abt 1818 in ? Elba, NY, m. Henry Donnelly (no date) and lived in Mason, Ingham Co. MI.?

Dau of David C. Jr. & Mary (Russell) Warner. They had no children. Offered money to family if someone would name their son Henry Donnelly; my great-greatgrandparents, Calvin “Frank” Franklin Warner, did so with their youngest son in Wheatfield twp., Ingham Co., MI. I need birth dates and death dates, cemetery info, of Amanda (Warner) and Henry Donnelly. And here’s a goodie: an Internet site where I can find/buy a pic of the “Hotel Donnelly” in long-ago Mason, MI. [I'm not related to Onondaga reunion Warners except back through another line. I read that, too, abt Lucien, etc. I grew up in Leslie and Eaton Rapids, and so not far from Onondaga, MI. There was also a nest of Warners related but not direct, that came to Milan, MI. I live only 10 miles from Milan!] Sorry I missed the Best Answer deadlline.

The information from this death certificate shows that Amanda (Warner) Donnelly was born in 1825 and was the daughter of David and Olive (Rawson) Warner. Various family trees (rootsweb.com) show that her grandparents were David and Mary (Russell) Warner.

Videodrome (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]

Videodrome (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray]

$23.98

Love it or loathe it, David Cronenberg’s 1983 horror film Videodrome is a movie to be reckoned with. Inviting extremes of response from disdain (critic Roger Ebert called it “one of the least entertaining films ever made”) to academic euphoria, it’s the kind of film that is simultaneously sickening and seemingly devoid of humanity, but also blessed with provocative ideas and a compelling subtext o…

Return to the Blue Lagoon [VHS]

Return to the Blue Lagoon [VHS]

$4.90

It took 11 years for the sequel to The Blue Lagoon to materialize. In the naturalistic, romanticized world conjured by the films, however, one begins where the other ended. When the crew comes down with cholera, Sarah leaves the ship with daughter Lilli and Richard …

Fire Over England [VHS]

Fire Over England [VHS]

Alexander Korda often enlisted Tinseltown talent to lend his British productions some Hollywood pizzazz. For this spirited historical film about the intrigues and counter-intrigues leading up to the Spanish Armada’s assault against Queen Elizabeth’s brave little island, William K. Howard directed and the cameraman was the great James Wong Howe. Still, it’s the Russian French art director Laza…

The Saint

The Saint

$3.06

Lightly enjoyable but a disappointment in the context of author Leslie Charteris’s popular character, the Saint–who has been played by several actors, most notably George Sanders–this 1997 film is more in keeping with the requirements of high-octane contemporary action than it is the requirements of a particular legacy. Val Kilmer plays Simon Templar, the mercenary spy, who is hired to steal a f…
