how do i get fishing line off of my reel of fishing pole?

i dont know how in the world to take the top of my reel off.the fishing wires all tangled up inside the reel.how do i take the top of the reel of.(well i took the cover off,so theres like 1 inch where i can see the line.)how in the world can i get the fishing line out?

It’s hard to say without seeing it but chances are that now that you have the cover off, there should be another nut that actually holds the “spool” on the reel, and once you find and remove this nut your spool just come free from your reel and then you should be able to strip and replace your line.
