What kind of comedy do you prefer?
For the most part I can’t stand crude bathroom and graphic sex jokes. They’re just low and gross. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a prude or if it’s just because it takes something more original and inspired to impress me. I’m also really sick of cliche “I’m a guy I’m not complicated” and “black people this white people that” jokes. I like creative, witty and subtle humor.
But then…I admit I like slapstick.The Marx Brothers and Chris Farley make me laugh and I still get a kick of those two burglars getting beat up in Home Alone. I like the classic comics like Mantan Moreland and Bob Hope too. King of the Hill and The Simpsons are funny. Looney Tunes and Disney make me laugh. Straight comedy makes me laugh. Shakespeare comedies make me laugh but so do SNL reruns and South Park. So I guess I like most kinds of comedy except the stuff I mentioned earlier.
Funny animals. King of the Hill. Old Bugs Bunny cartoons. I am very odd in my sense of humor.
