My Fly Drive Vacation!

The other month is embarked on a vacation to Canada. A drive across the whole of Canada doesn’t really sound right. Well actually yes I did, sort of. I had embarked on a fly drive holiday across Canada starting in Vancouver and driving to Winnipeg. We had three areas in mind across Canada that we had to visit. The one in the middle was Calgary.

So we set off from Vancouver. Although i had read a lot about this area, it looked a bit different to how i had thought about it. This city is different to any other in the world. It has fantastic scenery of green fields with trees; the sea is ice blue and the skies almost always over cast. This city is alive all day and all night, and you can get all the sport fever that you want.  What a way to start our Canada tours.  As a further note i have arranged for Vancouver holidays for the rest of my staff as well.

Our next stop was Calgary, the only thing was that we had to get there first, this means there was a 450 mile long drive. We passed through Kamloops, unfortunately we didn’t have the time that we needed to make a stop. As soon as we got to Calgary we hit the bed for some sleep. And talk about good timing, we managed to see the Calgary Stampede. This is a massive event that they hold each year and is often referred to as the greatest outdoor show in the world. The best way to explain it is; this is a place for cowboys, then afterwards a nice circus event, where they have all kinds of dangerous acts. This is a holiday that anybody could enjoy.

We then embarked on our final 600 mile drive to Winnipeg. This is a dream for any book reader, there is the Millennium Library, you can find out about anything here. Although we did go to the Winnipeg art gallery, this doesn’t mean we are boring, we still went out on a pub crawl with some of the locals. There is no doubt in my mind that this was the best holiday ever.  Alaska Cruises also do something like the fly drive, only all you have to do is relax.

The Italian Job (2003) (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

The Italian Job (2003) (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

$11.88

Composer John Powell pays homage to this film’s Eurocentrism and modern setting with a spare, twitchy main title and other cues that evoke a winning cross-pollinization of the oeuvres of Thomas Newman and David Holmes. Combining organic orchestral elements with electronic flourishes to good effect, that jazz-influenced, post-modernist tack quietly propels the best moments here. The score’s main sh…
