Motor Car

What would cause a car motor to seize up without any noise or smoke or emergency lights?

Our 2003Ford F150 has only 80K on it and the motor quit completley on the interstate. No emergency lights came on, there was no noise to it or anything! It’s sitting at the mechanics and tghey said that the motor was seized. It won’t move forward or reverse! they said it would cost us $7000 to get it fixed! Anyone with any thoughts???

my wild (but educated) guess is ; the battery gave up.(internally burn),or the main fuse.burn
that is all.

since there was not noise not light and all of a sudden.

take your car out of that mechanic.ASAP.

there is no way that engine is totaled, the main computer has more than enough ways to protect that engine.
the protection provided by the onboard computer toward the engine’s well being , is humongus

so good that in case of a component failure it cut the power in 3 nano seconds.(one second divided by a million)
