Motorcycle Cop

A Semi-Truck ran a red light and hit me, destroying my motorcycle, and cop faulted me?

Is there anything I can do? I was the first in line at a red light. The light turned green for me, so I went forward (not speeding or a second early) and a semi runs a red light and I crash into its back tire. Though I had two witnesses who told the cop the semi ran the red light, the cop in the end faulted me on the police report, for not looking both ways before I entered the intersection. I only had liability insurance, and his insurance company denied my claim because of the police report: is there anything I could do? either against the police officer or truck driver so I can get paid for my wrecked motorcycle? Thanking you in advanced.
This happened not at your typical intersection where all four roads meet. This freeway offramp has a large gap between the intersection crosses. Also, he was speeding and was on the right line.
