Motorcycle Sidecar

Motorcycle Sidecar
What are the laws regarding a motorcycle with a sidecar in Ontario Canada?

I can’t find very much information about this, but I’d like to know the restrictions/rules. One website (selling sidecars) claimed that if a bike with a sidecar is less that 50cc an M license isn’t required in Canada as long as you have your G. Is that true also?

Try the ministry of transportation website, or call them to confirm about the G licence only thing. Even if you have a G you will likely want to get an M and take safety course training, as these will help with insurance and skills.

No motorcycle under 50cc is going to effectively pull a sidecar. You probably want to buy the motorcycle and sidecar together (or at a dealer who will connect them) as the connection is not so simple and may take custom work to attach to different bikes. There are few ready made dealers, the only one I know is the Ural and its kind of old world industrial in quality. Maybe Harley has a rig too, but it will be double the (new) Ural prices of about 10K.
