Kids Can Be Stressful

I am probably a mother of 3 kids and let me tell you that each one of them is one of a kind. When all three youngsters get together, it really becomes tricky to handle them, particularly when their father is not around. At times I think that I should have reconsidered having a second and 3rd kid ( How horrible am I? ), but let’s be honest, it is far too late for that.

They would always come up with such creative concepts whenever they were stuck on something that I often wonder where they get all that brain power from to come up with the things they do. For instance, recently my youngest kid didn’t do his homework and he was seemingly very scared of his teacher. Hence, when he was asked that why he didn’t do his homework he revealed that he and his bros were busy planning to throw a shock party for their mummy’s birthday, and he was just at college to invite everyone over together with their mums. When he came back home and informed me of his plan, I was in a terrible state. I just didn’t know what to do. He told me everyone was informed the party was the following day. He disclosed this to me by the late evening. By that time it was just about impossible to call and tell individuals that it was a gigantic fat lie that my son opted to tell in order to escape scolding.

My husband and I decided that we would not get too mad and take the entire situation gently. I would attend the party and pretend to actually be confounded. We took out all the frozen stuff we had and food we stocked and prepared for the surprise party the whole night. I knew I had to help my child as he’s been a trouble maker for a long time and if the college ever found out about his lie I think it might have been the last straw. So my hubby and I felt this was the decent thing to do to keep my youngest son from being expelled.

The following day was the most notable day of my life for clearly negative reasons. I made sure that I had adequate amount of food in case the guests surpassed the number I were considering. And I was right, more than 50 people turned up for my surprise party. My house looked stuffed with children and women as if they were out at a duplicate sale ; apart from the incontrovertible fact that they were having a good time without paying for it. Not only this, I was hosting this replica sale and all I could lay my hands on were the cards made by children of the same age as my youngest son which said surprise.

This is just one of the incidents I’m telling about my youngest son. There is so much to tell about the other too. But whatever is expounded and done, they’re angels who I like more that I may have ever loved. I just hope that they’re going to change with time for good.
