How can you transfer apps from one ipod touch to another?

Ok so I am getting a new ipod touch soon but I have some games on my old one that I got to a high level on. I don’t want to start them over when I get my new ipod. Is there a way to transfer the apps?

Plug in your iPod Touch to iTunes and normally it will backup your iPod for you. Just to make sure it is, on the left side of iTunes where is says “(Name)’s iPod” if you right click, you can hit back up.

Then when you get your new iPod Touch, when you first need to set it up, you can select “restore from back up”. That means it will transfer all your game data, settings, etc. to your new iPod, the same as it was on your old iPod touch Then all you’ll need to do it sync the apps from iTunes onto your new one too and you’re sorted
