when a superball is dropped, can it rebound to a height greater than its original height? explain please.?
no, some of the energy is absorbed by the deformation of the ball ( and the surface it struck ) so it can’t even return to it’s original height
you might be interested to know that it would be possible to design a ball that would ( at least once ) just think of one with energy contained in it that would be released when it hit
somewhat like breaking a stretched rubber band ( which contains what is considered potential energy – a super ball doesn’t )
