What’s a really strong outdoor glue?

A little piece of trim keeps falling off my shed. Our handyman nailed it back on, but it still fell off. The last time it fell off, I used Liquid Nails to re-attach it. It held for a long time (several months and even over the winter), but it fell off again today. I keep hearing about Gorilla Glue. Is that any good? If not, is something better? Thanks!
There is no rot. In fact, it’s a newly constructed door … well, “new” meaning about a year old. Unfortunately, our old handyman (the one who built it) had a drinking problem, which is why he isn’t employed by us anymore, and it appears he used a nail gun or a nail stapler type gun. The nails are very thin and rather short. We are in the process of finding a new handyman, but in the meantime, I don’t want this little section of door where the trim came off exposed to our spring rains.

Gorilla glue is good stuff. Follow the directions on the bottle (you have to do something like apply it to one piece and get the other piece wet, then push them together and hold until it foams). Gorilla glue does give up its grip eventually, like most any other glue. I used it to reattach a rear view mirror to my windshield and, about 9 months later, it fell off again and I had to reattach it.
