I own a 1998 toyota Rav4, i found an oil leak coming from the oil pan this morning what could be the problem?

i was also driving off road just the day before and came down pretty hard in some sand im sure this is what caused it but where exactly is the leak coming from

if you’re lucky you came down flat on the sump pan and compressed the sump gasket a little.
if that’s the case you might get away with tightening the bolts a little!
Worst case you came down on an angle, in which case you might have to replace the sump pan & gasket.
it’s worth trying to use two gaskets With a thin bead of gasket sealant between all surfaces before going down that route!
