Paper Doll

What the heck is the name of that paper doll that you send on trips?

It’s driving me CRAZY! In High School I had this paper doll man. I sent him across the country to my aunt and she wrote about their adventures for a week, and then I took him on vacation, and junk like that. What is it called when you do that? There is a specific name for it. What the heck is it? like “traveling fred” or something. That’s not it. But it’s 2 names like that.
