A Legacy of Fun with Girl Scout Patches

If you have ever enjoyed perusing a scrapbook, you will have some idea of just how important Girl Scout patches can be to a young lady lucky enough to be in scouting. Sashes, vests, jackets, hats, and other items happily covered with colorful Girl Scout patches are symbols of the wonderful memories created over years of time. When Juliette Gordon Low presided over her first Girl Scout meeting in 1912, it is unlikely that she could have envisioned what it would mean to American girls for generations to come. Possibilities are limited only by imagination as special anniversaries, birthdays, vacations, holidays, and so much more are depicted in colorful patch designs that will delight everyone who sees them. Generally, you will be provided with a proof of the first draft of any patch, allowing for revisions until it is picture perfect. Troop photographs are a great way to preserve special memories when woven into a lovely patch that can be shared by all the girls in the troop.  Years pass quickly and Girl Scout patches can be an avenue of remembrance for times that should never be forgotten.

Multi generational scouting is a time honored tradition that is exemplified by covering a favorite scouting item with dozens of hand crafted patches that tell the story of happy days and treasured moments spent building strong character and lifelong relationships. Girl Scout patches are so much more than an ordinary emblem; they are the “scrapbook” you can wear and share for all time.
