Plastic Metal

Plastic Metal
is it cheesy to wear duo plastic metal frames for those who have thick lens in spite of them being high index?

the temples are thick plastic and the metal is the front of the frame….the metal won’t hide the thickness of the lens even if I get a 167 high index lens….am I better off gett a completely plastic frame? I don’t even think the thin plastic frames would hide the thickness of my lens…also, I am concerned with comfort as most men are.

if you have the option to try each than pick which suits you best if not than I would go with metal
