For example, your kid will be able to develop social skills as he performs in front of a crowd with his play theaters.  He’ll also develop his speaking skills as he plays make-believe situations with make-believe dialogues.  Little girls will also develop a sense of responsibility as she takes care of the occupants of her wooden dollhouse.  Your kid will develop all of this while having a lot of fun.

Your kid will enter a world of make-believe using pretend play toys and you should encourage it.  As mentioned, your kid will get these benefits and more.  It helps prepare your kid for the real world out there so that he won’t be overwhelmed.  After all, he’s already experienced them in pretend play.  He’ll meet a lot of people, learn a lot of things and experience a lot of situations with the world of make-believe.
