Does anybody remember the movie ‘Radio Flyer’?

I have all but accepted the fact that the younger brother Bobby died – most likely at the hands of his stepfather, though possibly by crashing his radio flyer. My question is this, if his stepfather killed him through abuse, then when exactly did that happen? At what part of the story does Bobby become part of his older brother Mikey’s imagination?

I love that movie, and you’ve given me food for thought. I never looked at it quite that way. I’ll be interested to see what others have to say.
