My cats meow loudly when they have a toy in the mouth?

i have 2 cats, siamese-tabby mix, and they’re sisters.
They have this toy mouse that rattles and they’re CRAZY about it. Sometimes i hear one of them meowing loudly, almost whining. Whenever I go to se if anything is wrong, it just turns out that she has the toy in her mouth.
Why do they do this? Its cute, but it gets kinda annoying sometimes…

Hi David…she’s just letting the other kitty know that’s this toy is hers. Cats can be possessive over something they really want or enjoy. Wild cats exhibit this exact behaviour over their food or things they play with.
