How do you get rid of permanent Marker on a hard red plastic ball?

My cousins and siblings drew on one of my favorite plastic balls (she wrote crap like i <3 Justin Bieber p.s. i just really hate him)i think they wrote with either with permanent or dry erase marker.Please tell me how to get rid of both
