No Need To Panic – We Are Getting A Vaccination

It was announced today that the UK will supply the entire population with a Swine Flu vaccination to stop the spread of this virus as soon as possible. The Swine Flu vaccinations will arrive in Britain in roughly two months and will start to be administered to people with serious under-lying health problems.

This will be cleared in the next five days meaning that 20 million people will be inoculated by Christmas 2009. The first lot of vaccinations will be made available to the elderly, GP’s and A&E workers, Policeman as well as people with serious underlying health problems.

Fifteen deaths have now been confirmed by the NHS as Swine Flu related and that number is set to increase. UK health secretary, Andy Burnham warned 100,000 people a day could potentially be struck by this annoying virus by the end of next month which is a staggering statistic. Peter Holden, the British Medical Association’s lead negotiator on swine flu and the man who says hat goes in terms of when we are going to get this vaccination, said: “High risk groups will be vaccinated at GP’s surgeries as soon as the vaccination is made available.

Many people are still making decisions over this but we want the NHS want to get cracking now before we get a second wave which is traditionally more virulent according to NHS chiefs.
Doctors are recommending that you get out there and help build up your own immune system. NHS chiefs are suggesting getting out there and purchasing balance activ and nutritional supplements to help your body deal with the virus better.
