how can i decrease the grip on my shoes?

ok so i have some shoes that i dance in
(michael jackson imitator)
and the soles on them shoes are rubbery which create grip when im trying to slide
eg. moonwalk, sidewalk

the only way really is to wear the souls out by using them alot..I think you could probably get away with putting some kind of wax on them too.That would probably do the trick.If they are bumpy souls then why dont you sand paper them down???I dont know about the last suggestion, think its best not to use that one, but the wax is a good idea.
