Best Toys for Dogs – Safe, Fun and Durable

It’s not simple to find dogs toys that are fun and safe, yet won’t end up either torn into pieces after half an hour or broken.

Dogs who are not given toys to occupy themselves with often develop behavioural problems such as chewing on things they shouldn’t.  It is not always possible for owners to give their dogs the attention they need in terms of playing with them and sometimes walks too will be out.  Giving your dog several interesting dogs toys to play with will keep your dog content and well-behaved and if the toys can provide some exercise, which all dogs need, all the better.

Toys for dogs should be fun and engage your dog in play – interactive dog and puppy toys are a popular good choice as your dog can either play alone with these toys or you can join in too.  

My little westie Dougie is no puppy but he’s always ready for for a game – his favourite dogs toys are his talking babble balls – these are interactive dog toys which really amuse him for at least an hour at a time and he only stops because he’s tired out and panting!  We often play together in the morning when he comes to wake me up, by me hiding the dog balls under the duvet and moving them around so that he can hear this toy that keeps coming out with smart little sayings in a really cute voice such as “oh, look at that!” or “now you’ve done it!”  He goes mad trying to get under the covers to get it!  The interactive doggie balls are made of hard plastic and almost indestructible so they really are good value toys for dogs.  These toys became available about 3 years ago and Dougie has had at least 9 to date (they are quite cheap) but now they are made by PetQwerks with replaceable batteries so the toy is even more perfect now.  The batteries are hidden in a compartment inside the toy which is screwed down securely, making the talking dog balls very safe and I have never had one split yet.  This interactive dog toy is safe, fun and indestructible, making wonderfullpuppy toys too. Apparently user reviews say the toys are also popular with children and cats love the small talking babble ball.
