Would a spinning top work in outer space ?

Would the lack of gravity in space, or any other factors, have any effect on a spinning top (like a dreidel) in outer space? If so, how?

It could spin. The lack of gravity would prevent a lot of friction (between the top and a surface), so it could, if uninterrupted, spin indefinitely.
