Is it okay to store vodka in a plastic bottle?

I lost the lid off a bottle of vodka so i poured what was left of it into an old water bottle.
Is it okay to store it for a long time in a plastic bottle?

yup its fine. not all vodka is stored in glass bottles, in fact a lot most of the cheap stuff is store in plastic bottles. i also store my liquor in empty water bottles when i don’t want to have the whole huge bottle. its completely fine!
