Surely there must be someone out there who can do something about this barbarity? No animal should be made to perform in a circus, and the cruelty meted out to this poor elephant is inexcusable. Please everyone, boycottt this circus and all others that use animals. I know it is not acceptable for a human being to be tortured, but the spineless swine who was hitting the elephant should be beaten in the same fashion, then tethered by his leg until he learns the error of his ways, and to the idiots who ‘own’ the animal, wise up and join the 21st century, no sane person wants to see animals made to perform in a circus, it is not entertainment, it is sickening, unjust and cruel. Please give the elephant to a zoo so she can live out the rest of her days with her own kind and be treated with respect and compassion.
