Is a swing set considered a permanent fixture??

I live in Massachusetts and my landlord’s daughter is giving me a hard time. I want to put up a swing set in my back yard, and my landlord told me (not in writing) that it was fiine, and now his daughter is saying he didn’t mean to say that and I can’t put it up. My question is, is a swing set considered a permanent fixture, or can I legally put it up because it’s a toy for my child and not a permanent attachment to the property?
