How do I call for a cab/taxi?

So I need to get a ride from a taxi/cab later this week and I never did went in one before and in a different town. How do I call one up is it a certain number?

Call information in the town you are in, or Google taxi or cab service for that town. You will get a number. When you are ready for your cab, call, give your address, phone # and where you are going. They will pick you up in usually 5 – 30 minutes and take you where you want to go!
