Do doll/figurine/toy collectors play with the toys sometimes?

I’m interested to know, the ones that take them out of the box… do they play with them sometimes? Like change their clothes brush their hair or whatever? Because I think that would be cute… I had a dream last night and this woman was 40 and playing with Barbies which is why I asked, maybe a doll/figuring/toy collector can answer. Thanks!

Yes. The fact is that there are whole groups that do it. It is really up to the collector. The dolls become of less value because they are not in mint condition. However, money should never be the main interest in collecting. It should be to enjoy the hobbie. It is fun. This is done even by senior collectors.
