What does Voice Activating System mean on options for a mini van?

I am van shopping on line and found a very basic van with not a lot of bells and whistles. On the list of options it does have it says Voice Activating Systems, what does that mean?

It means in addition to the knobs, buttons, and switches, you maybe able to control the operation of the radio, heater, air conditioning, navigation, back-up camera, bluetooth cell phone..etc by actually talking/saying the commands you want and the systems will respond.

How much you can control will depend on what the vehicle allows. Some are very basic, while others very extensive.
