View Master

if we update the view in oracle then it can affect the master table or not ? if yes then plzz explain it …?

example :- i have a employee master table and also a view on it if the user insert or update in view then it effect the master table employee….? or prevent to update master table .. explain …

how r u?. Yes it will be effect on master table if u “commit” it …………other wise u inserted a row and not to “commit” it will no effect on table.
